Plastic Twine
New Holland branded plastic twine is made in the USA and continues to be the Hay and Forage Industry's standard for quality. Our reputation for uniform diameter, consistent strength and exact ball length guarantees you will have tight bales without the worry of failure. New Holland twine is designed to work flawlessly in any properly adjusted baler without modification. New Holland offers twine in a wide variety of knot strengths, lengths and colors for various baler configurations and crops.
All New Holland branded plastic baling twine is designed to provide long-lasting durability. The stated knot or tensile strength is the guaranteed minimum tension at which it will break. New Holland also offers both standard twine or Photo Degradable. Standard twine is UV stabilized to last up to 18 months in the field without the worries of strength loss. Photo Degradable, however, will slowly deteriorate over time when exposed to sunlight.

New Holland
You can put up high-quality forage at a fraction of the cost of traditional silage systems by wrapping your bales with silage wrap. Properly wrapped bales undergo the same fermentation process that occurs in a silo. Along with being a low-cost silage investment, wrapping eliminates the need for shed storage space for your hay. The key to the fermentation process is having the hay wrapped in a high-quality plastic film that keeps out air, and is resistant to tears.

2 Mil Oxygen Barrier
As a Farmer, one of your main goals is to prevent oxygen from spoiling your feed, and we as your supplier understand this need. This is why we choose a brand of Oxygen Barrier that is true to its name. With a unique layer of melted nylon our barrier is second to none. It forms snug to the contours of your pile, eliminating up to 20 times more oxygen then when just using the black and white plastic. Our brand of Oxygen Barrier is one of the leading barriers in the world! In addition to major savings in silage, you also create consistency of feed in your pile. By doing this you create a higher quality of feed, leading to an increase in nutritional value for your animals, and ultimately an increase in milk production of each cow giving you back even more money.

According to Dr. Keith Bolsen, who is a silage management expert and professor emeritus at Kansas State University, the use of oxygen barrier is estimated to reduce the loss of silage by at least 5%. So if you have a bunker silo with 3,000-ton capacity, you can see on average $3,000 to $5000 net savings. Now if you have a 3000-ton capacity drive over pile, you can see a net savings up to $9000!
Black Wall Lining Plastic
KSI Supply is one of the only suppliers in the North American market that has access to quality, tri extruded, center folded Black Wall Lining Bunker plastic. Now, most farmers don't think that they need to line their bunker walls but, just take a look at the pictures below. The one on the left is a bunker wall that was poured only 5 years ago, but was never covered with wall lining plastic. As you can see, it's cracked, and eroded all the way through and will need to be redone. The photo on the right is a bunker wall that was always covered by KSI Black Wall Lining Bunker plastic. There is little to no damage or erosion on this wall. This is because the Black Wall Lining Bunker plastic prevents any leech aid from being absorbed into the concrete, leech aid increase the erosion of concrete immensely.

Elasta Tubes
Elasta Tube provide an oxygen free environment for anaerobic fermentation of high-moisture round bale silage. When tubing wet bale forage, these tube's help farmers store high quality feed conveniently. They are produced by Hyplast who uphold a strong reputation for durable agricultural films. These tubes are manufactured with a unique blend of resins that allow the tube to fit snug to the bale with stretch memory properties. They are tri-extruded just like the bunker covers to reduce stem punctures, and have UV protection.

End Caps
End caps are a great way to seal off your row of bales when using bale wrap. They are white, 4-millimeter-thick, UV stabilized flat bags used on the first and last bale for in line wrapping. When looking at the sizes available, the first number listed is the diameter for the opening of the bag, and the second number is the width of the cap.

Bag Tape
KSI has a unique, specially made bag tape. This brand of tape is one of the only brands that can stick to, and stay on agricultural plastic. It has an aggressive adhesive coat on a soft versatile vinyl and is designed to repair tears and punctures on silage and/or grain bags, sheets and film. The superior quality and makeup of the tape has good resistance to aging, sun, water and corrosive chemicals. It's a strong and conformable that also provides good vapor barrier protection for your silage. Tape rolls come in 3" and 6" wide and are 108 feet long.
Tires
Tire sidewalls are the perfect tool to use when trying to keep your bunker cover exactly where you want it. University studies have proven unanimously that tire sidewalls provide the best protection for crop spoilage by greatly minimizing exposure to air, water, disease, and mold. While whole tires trap stagnant water, insects, and other pests, sidewalls will help you improve your hygiene, save labor, and help improve your silage. Tires are available for delivery directly to your farm, as well as small load pickups at our office location. We offer punched and un-punched tires with about 2,220 tires per truck load.
